Moji Olaiya to be buried at Ikoyi Cemetery

​Moji ​Olaiya, the late actress, who died in a hospital in Canada, will be buried at the Ikoyi Cemetery.

Yomi Fabyi, publicity secretary for Moji Olaiya’s burial committee, made the announcement Thursday night.

He, however, didn’t give a specific date for the burial or when her body will arrive in Nigeria.

His statement below…

“It is CONFIRMED that the remain of the Late thespian Moji Olaiya upon arrival from Canada will be buried at EBONY VAULT at Ikoyi Cemetery, Lagos.

The immigration procedure for the return of the body and child to Nigeria is at an advance stage, all documents secured and we shall loose no time to give exact details as soon as we have a green light from Canada.

Breaking: Explosion Rocks Saudi Arabia

A car bomb has exploded in the predominantly Shia city of Qatif in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province, with initial reports of casualties.

The blast took place on Thursday, Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya television reported, without giving any details on casualties.

Sources affiliated to Saudi Shia Muslims said two people were killed in the bombing that happened near Qatif’s Sheikh Hussein al-Omran Mosque. They said the explosive-packed car went off after it came under RPG fire.

“The explosion was very huge,” a witness told AFP, adding that armored and other police vehicles sealed off the scene of the bombing after the explosion.

Qatif has witnessed anti-regime protests since 2011, with demonstrators demanding free speech, release of political prisoners, and an end to economic and religious discrimination.

See the Four Men Who Allegedly Lynched a Soldier to Death and Burnt His Body (Photos)

The police in Ghana have arrested about four people who allegedly murdered and lynched a soldier in Ghana after mistaking him for an armed robber. 

Four out of the five prime suspects have been arrested in connection with the lynching of a Captain of the Ghana Army have been sent to the Central Regional Police Headquarters in Cape Coast.

According to Adom News, the fifth suspect who sustained bullet wounds during a struggle with the lynched Captain Maxwell Mahama is also at the hospital. 

They were paraded before the media by the police at the Regional Headquarters of the Police in Cape Coast as part of the investigations.
